Nanotechnology prominent in European conference Industrial Technologies 2016

The recently launched programme for the conference Industrial Technologies 2016 includes a nanotechnology based programme track. This largest networking conference in the field of new production technologies, materials, nanotechnology, biotechnology and digitalisation in Europe brings together research, industry, education, finance and policy. The programme track Revolution by technology and innovation offers sessions dedicated to nano-enabled production, thin film manufacturing processes, advanced materials, nano for energy and more. One of the keynote speakers is ASML Executive Vice President Peter Wennink . On 22-24 June Industrial Technologies 2016 will take place in Amsterdam.

Programme Industrial Technologies 2016

This three day European conference offers more than 90 in-depth presentations and workshops, including case studies and best practices. Over 70 international renowned speakers from industry, research, and government will be present. Industrial Technologies 2016 presents a one-to-one matchmaking programme and networking sessions. The site visits include Dutch organisations that are leaders in the field of smart industry/industry 4.0, such as Tata Steel, QuTech, Netherlands Aerospace Center, MESA+ institute for nanotechnology. Break-out sessions include topics such as:

  • Creating new ecosystems and value chains for 4th industrial revolution
  • Flexible high volume manufacturing solutions
  • Advanced materials and systems for energy efficient building
  • Innovative financing solutions for scaling up and large scale facilities

The international conference Industrial Technologies 2016 – Creating a Smart Europe is organised as an associated event of the Netherlands Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
